For car-buyers, the two major sources of additional protection are GAP Insurance, which we’ve covered in a previous post and extended warranties, also known as vehicle service contracts.

Vehicle Service Contracts offer protection to the car-buyer. A service contract can cover the costs associated with vehicle repair, including things like labor, parts and sales tax or fees, for certain repairs or replacements the may be required after a manufacturer’s warranty expires.

Dealers often offer service contracts on all of their vehicles. And the service repairs covered,  can typically be completed at any manufacture dealership, not just the one where you purchased you vehicle.

At Krietz Auto, we offer a warranty powered by Warrantech, which includes 3 month/3,000 miles of coverage. Warrantech is an AmTrust Financial Company rated A (excellent) by A.M. Best, the acknowledged authority for rating insurance companies.

Additional benefits include roadside assistance, rental car reimbursement, towing service, lost key/lockout service and quick, reliable claims service.
